What is the best way to lose weight and keep it off? I tried everything and finally I came up with my own way to finally get skinny and figured I would share it!
This is a question I have asked probably a few thousand times and believe it or not each time I got a different answer. The problem was the results were always the same; I would try a new diet and kick butt with it for a few weeks, drop 15 - 20 pounds and then get sick of the diet and boom all the weight is back and then some.

You already know what the two main reasons for weight loss are; eating right and exercise but what the problem usually is in most cases is organization and overkill. These are the main reasons for failure and I am sure you have seen it a thousand times before. You get motivated to exercise and eat right so you get on some fad diet where you can't eat carbs so you load up on salad and hit the treadmill for an hour a night. This is where overkill comes in. I mean let's face it are you really going to stick to that diet for the rest of your life? Maybe yes if you are a rabbit but come on you need to eat real food after all you are a human being! Weight loss should be gradual not overnight, I know you want instant results but for the most part no instant gratification in life is good for you.

After completing my research on the many ways to lose weight, I have found a common thread throughout. Read this article to see how You can Count the Ways to Lose Weight!
Isn't this the Sixty Four Thousand dollar question! I will bet that every man, woman or child has posed this question themselves. I have asked myself this question on numerous occasions.

After this question pops into your head, the first thing most people do is research. Boy, let me tell you, I cannot count the ways to lose weight because there are so many. You start searching the net, reading the various magazines published on this subject, and maybe you have even been watching the ads on television. With all that is available to us, this could take hours. Well, if this is the circle you have been going through, I am sure you have come up with the same conclusion I have. There are various and many ways to lose weight. At this point all I am sure about is that your head is spinning, so why don't you go ahead and start by picking one method. Remember it can always be changed if you find it does not suit you. Just keep trying until you find the one that does suit you.

It is always a good idea to check with your doctor before starting any program to make sure your plan is suitable.

After completing my research on the many ways to lose weight, I have found a common thread throughout. Any plan or program you undertake must include healthy eating habits, as well as a regular exercise regime.

Of the many ways to lose weight, you may want to start with the following to help you stay on the right path and to keep you motivated.
Set a Goal. Maybe you need to lose 30lbs. In order to avoid being discouraged, break this down into say 10lb increments and set a time limit to achieve this mini goal. After this has been reached, start on the next 10lb increment and so on. Write your goal down and post it so it is visible at all times.
Set up a Plan for both the Diet and Exercise program. Again, put this in writing. Record your progress in the plan and this will let you know if you need to make changes along the way in order to achieve your goal.
Be Realistic and Honest. Remember, the weight didn't appear overnight. Therefore don't expect to lose weight overnight. This is going to take time and effort on your part.
Modify the Plan if you find that you are not obtaining your goals and things are not working out as planned, please don't give up. Go back to the research you did on the different ways to lose weight and try another approach. Eventually you will find the one that will work for you.
In closing, I would just like to say to keep your overall goal in mind at all times and continually work toward that goal. There is not a shortage of ways to lose weight and I will bet you can, and will, find the way in order for you can reach the ideal weight and fitness level you have in mind.

Don't forget . . . major risk's attributed to carrying too much weight can be Heart Disease, Stroke, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, and Osteoarthritis.

Ok to answer my question "What's the best way to lose weight and keep it off?" I can sum up the answer in one word ORGANIZATION! Think about it when your bills are out of order and you are stressed you need to lay them all out, get organized and then work toward a solution. This is the same concept with weight loss. People have different ways of getting organized with weight loss. I personally found a program that installed on my computer and I put in what foods I like, what I weigh, what I want to weigh, how old, tall etc... and this program printed out a diet for me and it made my weight loss journey very easy! This program even went as far as to print out a shopping list for me! The program was never out of date because much like Windows it goes to its home for updates! If that is something you would be interested in I will post a link at the bottom so you can check it out, It was the best thing I ever did for myself! It is not a diet it is a change of life.

Getting organized, light exercise (walk 45 minutes 3 days a week) and don't overdo it -Slow and steady wins the race! Good luck and remember you are renting the finest machine ever made and you will only have it for about 80 years if your lucky so why not make it look as good as it is capable of looking?
